Treatment in detail
Exercise Prescription
We uphold a conservative approach to pain management as a top priority. Our methodology involves a comprehensive evaluation of your current level of ability, followed by a series of movement-based exercises that gradually progress you through a rehabilitation ladder. This ladder includes a range of motion exercises, stretching, strength and conditioning, and sport-specific training that is tailored to your unique health needs and long-term goals.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy involves the application of pressure muscles and soft tissues using hands, fingers, elbows, or massage tools. The techniques include effleurage, petrissage, and friction, which offer benefits such as reducing muscle tension, enhancing relaxation, improving circulation, and promoting healing.
Pre-post Orthopaedic Physiotherapy
Elective orthopaedic physiotherapy involves targeted rehabilitation for individuals undergoing planned surgical or non-surgical orthopaedic interventions. It focuses on improving musculoskeletal function through personalized exercise programs, manual therapy, and patient education. The goal is to enhance recovery, restore mobility, and optimise function before or after orthopaedic procedures, based on evidence-based practices and individual assessment.
Manual Therapy
Joint mobilisations to facilitate movement temporarily in adjunct with main mode of exercise therapy. Muscle energy techniques A technique that uses the patient’s own muscle contractions against a resistance applied by the therapist to improve joint mobility and muscle function. Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) a technique that uses specific patterns of movement combined with muscle contractions and relaxations to improve flexibility, strength, and coordination.
